Math   Lord Baden-Powell has adopted the state approved language arts program by Harcourt Brace. In second grade, we focus on a wide array of mathematical skills. By the end of the year, students should be able to add and subtract numbers with up to three digits. They should be able to tell time as well as count change up to one dollar. We will practice reading graphs and gathering data. Also, students will be introduced to multipication and division. By the end of the year, they should know their multipication skills for their 1s, 2s, 5s, and 10s. If students are to be successful, they need to complete their homework every night as well as practice their flash cards. Return to the Homepage
